Titanic Belfast Museum
Titanic Belfast was opened in 2012 and is located in the heart of Belfast. Despite the fact that the Titanic sank over 100 years ago, there is still great interest in the ship and its maiden voyage. At the Titanic Belfast, you will be taken on a self-guided adventure through nine interactive galleries that take you through the building process, the fit-out of the Titanic and the launch, all where the ship was actually built. You will also learn about the sinking, the aftermath as well as more about the myths and reality. Your tour also includes entry to the SS Nomadic which is the last remaining ship from the White Star Line. It has been fully restored and gives you a glimpse into what it was really like back then.

Botanical Gardens
The Botanical Gardens in Belfast were opened as a public park in 1895. Located about 1 mile south of the city centre, the Botanical Gardens are free to visit for all. Two of the most popular features of the gardens are The Tropical Ravine and The Palm House. The Palm House is one of the earliest examples of a glasshouse made from curved iron and glass. They showcase how exotic plants can be grown and contain some of the oldest seed plants in the world today. The Palm House has a 12-metre dome to accommodate the taller plants. A walk through the Botanic Gardens has been described as one of the best walks in Belfast.
